For this project, I was tasked with creating a fictional poster that advertised for Charleston, South Carolina's Farmer's Market. The poster needed to include location info, upcoming events, hours. and more. My artistic direction for this project combined the gorgeous, rolling fields of South Carolina's farm lands with the warmth of the sun, as if coming straight from a jar of fresh Southern sweet tea. I stuck with colors that inspired images of organics and sunshine. The typefaces chosen were meant to allow for maximum readability from a distance, while the swashes included in some of the tails and legs in the letters remained reminiscent of a hand-painted sign.
